INSTALLATION CHALLENGES:
This re-roofing project had to be done
during business hours above corporate
offices. Safety for people working at the
Lowe’s Corporate Office was a big concern.
And because this structure was originally
built as a shopping mall, there was a lot of
abandoned equipment on the roof that was a
potential deterioration threat.
To keep disturbances to a minimum, noisy
tear off work and loud equipment use was
done between dawn and 9:00AM and after
5:00PM. Safety monitors policing the grounds
kept Lowe’s employees and vendors out of
harm’s way. All abandoned equipment was
removed and disposed of properly to
eliminate possible roof deterioration. |
